Lucis wireless lighting featured on BGR india
Recently I replaced one of the bulbs in my home with a Philips Hue light. The Philips Hue comes across as just another bulb but the magic lies in its ability to change colors and be controlled using a digital assistant, be it Alexa on Amazon Echo or Assistant on Google Home. It then led to me to look for a light source that offers the option to change colors like the Hue but lacks all that smartness.
Highlights
- If you like all things LED then the Lucis Lamp will serve as a great accessory
- Lucis Lamp uses plexiglass and is splash proof so you can take with you to pool or beach
- It uses touch strip to control brightness and other features
Our gadgets and connected lifestyle at large is on hyper drive right now. Our smartphones are as powerful as our computers and our mobile internet connection is several folds faster than the dial up connections from some years ago. With all of that processing power and faster connectivity, we usually miss out on simplicity. My primary reason behind looking for a light source that changes color like a chameleon but lacks connectivity options was driven by the idea of having one less connected device at my helm. I found one such device in the form of the Lucis lamp.
